The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a exciting storyline including angels, demons, and sinister influences expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team understands precisely where to head next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his own means, invading the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his debts and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, above the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could help the group access areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This means them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in search of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Questers and Schemers groups.

Fans can anticipate learning which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on October 24.
